MONTGOMERY D. FINCH grew up in Northern Michigan but has always maintained close ties to Indiana, with family in Edinburgh and numerous visits before ultimately moving to the state. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Alma College in Alma, Michigan, before completing his Juris Doctor at Wayne State University Law School in Detroit. Montgomery is admitted to practice law in Indiana and is looking forward to continuing his representation of the people of Indiana.
Before joining the Harris Law Firm, Montgomery worked as a federal attorney in Michigan with one of the state's largest firms, where he managed a litigation caseload in both of Michigan's federal courts. His work spanned personal injury defense, municipal defense, product liability, medical malpractice, and complex procedural matters, providing him with a strong foundation in handling civil disputes and preparing cases for trial.
At the Harris Law Firm, Montgomery maintains a litigation-focused practice, representing clients across Indiana. He is committed to delivering thorough preparation, clear communication, and practical, effective results tailored to each client's needs.
Outside of work, Montgomery enjoys distance running and, when time allows, watching professional baseball. He approaches the practice of law with the belief that effective advocacy begins with preparation and ends with trust, striving not only to achieve favorable outcomes but also to provide confidence and reassurance to his clients. His work in Indiana reflects both his professional dedication and his long-standing personal connection to the state.
